I have needed Carl's help twice recently (gaining access to a flat and repairing a 'sticky' DG door) and both times I have been impressed with his professionalism (he would not drill the lock and replace it until I had given proof that it was legal to do so) and the clear information and advice he gives (DG door repair). Of all trades, a locksmith is someone you should be able to trust (!) and in my opinion, Carl is right up there and will be my first call for any lock, door and window issues.

Carl is an absolute hero! Today, I faced one of the most frightening experiences when my car unexpectedly locked itself—with my daughter inside. I was overwhelmed with panic, but Carl came to the rescue in no time. He doesn’t normally work with cars, but he dropped everything to help me, arriving within minutes. He handled the situation with such professionalism and calmness, which was exactly what I needed in such a tense moment. Thankfully, my little one slept through most of it, and Carl managed to unlock the car without causing any damage. I can’t express my gratitude enough—Carl, you are truly a lifesaver! Carl did a fantastic job fitting locks to doors and windows in our house which is a listed building, including to old and delicate window frames. His work is of high quality: he took great care to make sure everything looks and performs perfectly. Reliable, good communicator, and reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Excellent!!!!! We had door lock issues and contacted 1st Security. Very quick reply, advised to get the door locked that evening and came out the following day. Issue identified very quickly and solved right away. Very reasonable costs and top class, professional service. Lock now working as new. Our first call for any issues of the like.

Carl arrived on time, friendly , replaced the brolen lock barrel , and further, did some additional preventative maintenence work on the upvc door, to protect the lock.
All the labour was covered within the, very reasonable,minimum first hour rate.
Conveniently he also had the exact size replacement barrel needed in his van so job done quickly ✔️
Would recommend.
